Raise your hand if you miss Evrod Cassimy in Detroit! Me too BUT, he hasn’t gone far. Last year Evrod and his family moved to Chicago as he grabbed an awesome opportunity to work for NBC’s Channel 5. And, though we miss him in Detroit, we can still catch up with him on social media and see all the great things he’s doing there.
One of those things is singing… of course, and I caught up with the multi-talented Cassimy on his new Christmas song for a good cause. He penned and recorded the song, “Please Come Home for Christmas” to help families he met a few months ago. Evrod is donating 100% of the proceeds to help provide support for Chicago Housing Authority residents this Christmas.
